Manny Pacquiao’s big win last night over Miguel Cotto to take the World Boxing Organization’s welterweight belt, combined with Apl.de.Ap’s appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” has me beaming with pride today. In their honor, the Black Eyed Peas’ “Bebot,” which has the cheer that was going up around the world last night, “Pilipino! Pilipino! Pilipino!”
