R.E.M.’s little videoclips on ninetynights.com really are getting me revved up for the new “Accelerate” album. And the announcement that the band will be playing Jones Beach the week of my birthday this year reminded me of the birthday road trip to see them in Columbus in (geez) 1995 on the “Monster” tour. Ah, good times.
